When I was painting this picture, I was thinking especially about my body, about how it is beautiful and changes slightly without my consent. There is a reference to femininity, intimacy, but also to decorativeness in this painting. Because isn't it true that our bodies are our calling card? Sometimes we don't even realize how we look. This is my argument against insecurities - I exist, I live, and I have people who don't even think about my insecurities when meeting me. And surely many of them don't mind. And so decorative, beautiful paintings are created as a thank you to the body for existing. Beauty which means not only appearance, but also its energy, and this energy is beautiful.
